Issy wowed the judges with her skills (Picture: ITV)
An eight-year-old girl left the Britain’s Got Talent judges spellbound after showing off her magic skills.
Inspired by her hero Hermoine Grainger, Issy Simpson combined her two favourite things – magic and reading – to leave the panelists stunned into silence on the talent show.
She gave the judges books – by Colin Davies, Enid Blyton and, of course, David Walliams – to hold out of a cardboard box.
And, after showing them that nothing was left in the box, demanded that Simon Cowell picked up and moved the empty box.
She told the head judge: ‘Simon, could you pick up my box and put it on the floor for me please?’
Which should obviously be easy. But it wasn’t.

And the judges were shocked.
As Issy went to open the box, she pulled out a pack of playing cards and snatched the box away from Simon’s grasp.
Nope, that box is stuck (Picture: ITV)
Will Issy magic her way into the next round? You’ll have to tune in to ITV1 on Saturday night at 8pm to find out!
