Well this is awkward.
As Liam Payne releases his own solo music, he’s taken the moment to make a swipe at his chart rival and bandmate Harry Styles. In a very controversial move in risking the wrath of Harry’s fans the world over, Liam has confessed he doesn’t actually like his mate’s music.
Take it back Liam, take it back!
In an interview he said: ‘Harry’s song I heard and I’ll be honest it’s not my sort of music, it’s not something I’d listen to, but I think he did a great job in doing what he wanted to do. That’s the way I’d put it best I think.’
Then in some epic backpeddling, he tried to say Harry would probably say the same about his music.
Would he though, Liam? Would he?
Liam added: ‘I think the funny thing is, he would say the same thing about me because he doesn’t really listen to hip-hop music, whereas it’s like my song’s more [Tyga’s] ‘Rack City’ and his song is more of a different era to something I’d listen to, I guess.’
Well as Liam’s debut single is out May 19, we’ll all have to wait and see if Harry does indeed say it’s an assault on his ears.
Oh well, Liam’s not all bad at least. He recently confessed that he saved his mate Calvin Harris from coming a cropper from a flying dwarf at Miley Cyrus’ 21st birthday party.
