Neymar is confirmed as missing this weekend’s El Clasico clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid after his club decided not to further their appeal against his suspension.
The Brazilian forward was sent off for Barca in a recent defeat to Malaga, and received an extra two-game ban for sarcastically applauding the officials.
This will be a huge blow for Barcelona as they travel to the Bernabeu in urgent need of a win to keep their La Liga title hopes alive this season.

Luis Enrique’s men are already three points behind Real in the table, and Los Blancos also have a game in hand on the Catalans as they look to win their first title since 2011/12.
Neymar, 25, has 15 goals and 18 assists in all competitions this season as he continues to establish himself as one of Barcelona’s most important players.
